From adjusting to study at AIDC to navigating Melbourne life, our Student Support and Careers Manager (SCCM) will assist you with both big and small problems. Including 24/7 critical incident, urgent and emergency support. When necessary, they can also direct you to additional individualized and specialized services.

If you are unable to attend campus, we offer online meetings.

ShapeOrientation Program
All new AIDC students participate in an Interactive Orientation Week designed to help you settle into the college.
Orientation includes:
- Campus tour (classrooms, workshop spaces, student areas)
- Understanding your timetable and training plan
- Introduction to trainers and key administrative staff
- Overview of WHS, emergency procedures, and code of conduct
- Academic expectations and assessment formats
- Getting started with email, LMS, and digital resources
- Life in Melbourne — transport, living costs, safety, and local essentials
You will also receive your student ID, handbook, and resource information.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing
