Entry Requirements
1. Identity & Personal Documents
Applicants must provide:
- Valid passport (bio-data page)
Current visa (if applying from within Australia)
2. Academic Documents
Applicants must submit academic transcripts, also referred to as mark sheets, graduation certificates, or academic awards, for all completed and incomplete studies.
For AIDC courses, Australian Year 11 and/or Year 12 academic documents (or overseas equivalent) are mandatory and must be included with every application. Please check entry requirements page for course specific information. All academic documents submitted must:
- Clearly list all subjects undertaken and grades achieved
- Be issued on the official letterhead or paper of the awarding institution
- Be provided in:
- The original language, and
- A certified English translation (if not originally issued in English)
- Be submitted as certified copies, verified digital academic records from recognised platforms, or officially emailed directly from the issuing institution
If applicants have not yet received final results for their most recent qualification, they must provide formal evidence of enrolment, such as an enrolment letter or statement. This must include the course start date and expected completion date, which should also be declared on the AIDC application form.
3. English Language Proficiency Evidence
(International students only, unless otherwise required)
One of the following (where applicable):
IELTS test result
PTE Academic test result
Other DHA-approved English language tests, if applicable
Results must meet the course-specific English requirement and be valid at the time of application.
4. Application & Admission Forms
Applicants must submit:
- Completed AIDC Application Form
- Signed Student Declaration / Acceptance of Offer (once issued)
- Genuine Student (GS) Statement (included in the application form)
5. Skills & Readiness Assessments
Applicants must complete (as part of the admissions process):
- ACSF LLND Assessment
(Literacy, Language, Numeracy and Digital skills) - Digital Skills Assessment (for diploma and advanced diploma courses)
6. Construction Industry–Specific Documents
(Construction and civil courses only)
White Card (CPCWHS1001)
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) acknowledgement (where required)
7. Additional Documents (If Applicable)
Depending on the applicant’s circumstances, AIDC may request:
Resume / CV (recommended for diploma and advanced diploma courses)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application with supporting evidence
Credit Transfer documents (Statements of Attainment)
Medical or fitness declaration (where required for practical training)
8. Post-Offer / Visa-Related Documents
(International students)
After accepting an offer:
Tuition fee payment receipt
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) confirmation
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) issued by AIDC
Student visa (Subclass 500) grant notice
