The CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating + CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) pathway is designed for students who want to develop practical painting and decorating skills before progressing into building supervision, construction management and project coordination.

Entry requirements

Applicants should:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise approved by the provider
  • Meet the provider’s academic requirements
  • Demonstrate suitable English language, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Complete the provider’s LLN assessment or pre-training review
  • Have the physical capacity to participate in practical construction activities
  • Be prepared to work with paints, coatings, tools, ladders, scaffolding and construction equipment
  • Meet relevant student visa and Genuine Student requirements, where applicable
